our virtual GIRL'S GROUP

Quarterly, WE provide an ALL GIRL’S ADOLESCENT GROUP for Girls, ages 12 –17 years old, requiring support in one or more of the following areas:

Adjusting to Online Learning, Motivation & Self-Discipline, while learning online "Am I bored? Am I easily distracted? Am I struggling with productivity and focus? Am I giving up on my academic year because of online learning?"

Adjusting to COVID-19 and the Requirements of Social Distancing from Peers & Others "Does COVID 19 cause sadness, fear, anxiety, boredom & loneliness?"

Understanding & Managing Emotions & Mood "Do I struggle with knowing how I feel? Do my emotions change so much that I struggle with understanding them?Do I struggle with managing my mood?"

Establishing Healthy Relationships with Peers and/or Family Members "Do I struggle with making new friends? Do I struggle with keeping friends? Do I have healthy and positive relationships with others? Do I struggle with trusting others and getting along with my peers, authority and family members?"

Developing Positive Self-Esteem & Increased Self- Worth "Am I hard on myself? Do I compare myself to others? Do I struggle with recognizing my own strengths and positive qualities, while placing a lot of pressure on myself? Do I talk down to myself at times?

A Need to Improve Decision- Making & Problem- Solving Skills "Do I make decisions based on how I feel, often not considering the best choices or considering consequences? Do I struggle with recognizing what the best choice is? Am I easily influenced by others?

GIRL'S GROUP RULES & COMMITMENT

Group is a Powerful Support System & Learning Tool for Adolescent Girls. These young ladies are able to meet regularly, to learn, discuss, process, interact, and problem- solve with each other, through education, support, empathy, and sharing to collectively foster positive change through the group process.

Commitment is an essential part of the group process and attendance to All Group Sessions are a necessary part of the group process because it allows the group member to share with others, reflect on self, learn from others, connect with others positively and not feel alone and Grow as an individual.

DATES, LOCATION & COST

When: Our Girl's Group Curriculum is designed in Phases, allowing a Family to decide if they would like their Loved One to be a part of 1 Phase or be a part of them ALL.

Where: VIA ZOOM (a confidential and password protected link will be provided via email)
